Arno Roger-GenershBorn in France 1929 & Studied in Munich and travelled extensively around Europe. Arrived in Australia in 1960.

Arno's talent was nurtured by eminent professor in the European School of fine Arts where he studied Impressionism and Portraiture. After moving to Australia he has held over 36 successful solo exhibitions.

Some of his commissions have included portraits of Albert Schweitzer, Cardinal Wendel of Bavaria, Dr Vogel Lord Mayor of Munich and former Prime Minister of Australia, Robert J. Hawke.

He has won numerous prizes and awards. The most notable, achieving world acclaim at the International Exhibition in France, where he was runner-up with one of his classical Australia Bushmen works, which now on permanent display at the Australian Embassy in Paris.

Arno describes himself as a realist artist. He works in all media, however he prefers Pastel as he finds the media interesting and satisfying. Arno is also a Co-Founder of the Pastel Society of Victoria.

Typically, his work includes studies of Australian Bushmen, Portraits, Nudes, Ballet dancers, Horses, Landscapes, Flowers and Still life.
